MOC Update: The Alphabet

I've always loved the idea of brick-built letters! In fact, it was amazing sets like 70620 NINJAGO City and 10246 Detective's Office that actually inspired me to build this MOC in the first place! I thought it could be helpful to have instructions available for building each letter in the alphabet! However, some letters like K and X were originally a bit of a stretch to build...

Eventually I just settled for the best I could do, but recently, I thought of a new system which allows for more versatility! With this new system, I was able to improve some of the trickier letters with cheese slopes! These updates are shown below.

The MOC

The Alphabet

This MOC features all 26 letters in the alphabet with 4 holders to display them all! I designed this MOC to be a helpful guide on how to assemble these compact, brick-built letters, so feel free to use these letters in any of your own MOCs! They especially work great for signs on buildings!

The Update

The first change is in the "holders". I made them longer and added an extra bar in the back. This updated double bar system greatly increased the strength and possibilities of this MOC! All 26 letters were adjusted to the new system and condensed to only one stud thick rather than the previous two stud thickness. Many of their lengths were shortened as well! Finally, a few letters received total redesigns! For example, K, N, V and X should look much cleaner now!
