Carter's Construction Zone

Over the past month, I've been working on something big. In fact, it's the biggest MOC I've ever built! It's my entry for my first ever LEGO Ideas challenge, "An Escape, a Reset, in the A-Frame Cabin". First, I'll share some photos and then I'll show you my build process from start to finish! The hidden reference to World 1-2 in the 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System set is great, but I wanted to build an even larger replica of this familiar, underground level! The model is the same dimensions and built in the same style as my previous Super Mario Bros. World 1-1 MOC, so they will look perfect together on display! Like many, I have a lot of nostalgia for the NES, especially for Super Mario Bros. I loved the 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System set, but I found myself wishing for an even bigger display of the infamous World 1-1 level! That's why I decided to build this MOC! With more room, I was able to include details from the entire level, including the iconic goal pole and castle! Keep reading for a closer look at the model!
