MOC Showcase: Super Mario Bros. World 1-2

The hidden reference to World 1-2 in the 71374 Nintendo Entertainment System set is great, but I wanted to build an even larger replica of this familiar, underground level! The model is the same dimensions and built in the same style as my previous Super Mario Bros. World 1-1 MOC, so they will look perfect together on display! Super Mario Bros. World 1-2

 

This MOC features a model inspired by the iconic World 1-2 level from the NES classic: Super Mario Bros.! The entire model is built on 12 16x16 LEGO Art baseplates and can be displayed on a desk, shelf, or even on the wall!

Mario has just fallen into an underground level, but he's ready to continue his journey!

Mario isn't alone down here! Goombas and pipes lurk underground too! And, is that a piranha plant?

At the end of the level, you'll find the warp pipe to get back to the surface, but wait, is that a secret warp zone?

 

The entire model is built on 12 16x16 LEGO Art baseplates for easy display!
