New MOC: Graduate Brickheadz

We're getting close to the end of the school year which means that it's also the exciting season of graduation! What better way to celebrate than with a graduate Brickheadz? My latest MOC on Rebrickable is just that, and it can be fully customized to look just like the amazing graduates in your life! With 360 different combinations, this MOC was quite the interesting build!

This MOC features a fully customizable graduation Brickheadz-style model perfect for celebrating all the special graduates in your life! With 360 different combinations, everyone can find the perfect look for them! Specifically, the instructions include building options for 4 skin colors, 5 hair colors, 10 hair styles, and an option to add glasses, but builders are more than welcome to make any of their own personal customizations as well! It should be noted that the inventory for this MOC includes all of the parts needed to build any of the possible graduate combinations. If the inventory for one specific combination is needed, the included Studio file contains all 360 combinations. Any of these looks can then be easily duplicated into a separate studio file where the pieces for that specific design can be determined. The specifications provided below are a range of all the possible specifications for any graduate combination.

 

These skin and hair colors are featured in the MOC's inventory, but any other colors could work great too!

 

These 10 hair styles could also be mix and matched to create even more combinations! For example, the bangs on one hair style could be swapped out with the bangs from a different hair style!

When I first started working on this project, my main priority was to make sure that this graduate was as customizable as possible, so that everyone can find an option that looks like them! Once I had the base cap and gown built, I began working on different hair styles! I decided on 10 various types of hair, and made sure to only use parts that come in a wide range of colors! Then I began to work on creating the instructions. My goal was to make the customization process as simple as possible, so the instructions have clear steps indicating when different options are available, and the instructions of course include steps on how to build all 10 hair styles! I also decided to include a Studio file with all 360 combinations so that builders can easily determine the parts needed for each specific one!
